MLB All-Star Weekend: Players to watch in the Futures Game

The MLB All-Star Week Festival kicks Kick on Saturday with MLB Futures Game at Atlanta. This performance of young players during the game is a great place for more casual fans to see the top possibilities in baseball. The DiThers-and people who work in the industry-use it as a check-in, to see if they remember any raiser or falllers in the first part of the minor league season.

If you are looking for those people to pay special attention to this year, then there are dozen possibilities that I am the most excited to see in this year’s game.

Arrow-up 2024 draft

Conor Griffin, SS, Pittsburg pirates
Gauge Jump, LHP, Exercise
Trays yesavage, rhp, Toronto Blue Jais

All three are among the largest researchers from last year’s draft. Griffin has some of the best raw equipment among minors. I compared him Fernando Tatis JRPrior to last year’s draft, due to his explosive power/speed combo in a shortstop/outfield defensive fit. The jump’s velo is some ticks up, and he tickles the top of the strike zone with a heater, which has a great shape to go there: he now sits 93–96, hits at a speed of 98 mph.

Yesavage has unique pitch shapes and deception from his high arm slot, causing their fastball and changes up to average, but he is so vertically oriented that he cannot make a very horizontal movement on anything, making all his pitches a cluster in the same area of a movement. Hitters are thrown away by unexpected movement from a unique hand slot, so I am expecting some strange swings from the hits, which will not be prepared with a scouting report.

Top 100 rocketing

It was 46th on me Pre -weather Top 100, then in fifth Update two months ago. Coming in the season, we all had a historically good performance in the Dominican Summer League, but his medium frame cut his upside down slightly. He can be a plus hitter with plus power from both sides of the plate, which can stick to the infield, if there is no shortstop, and he is just torching Kam-A during the age of 18 years. Hope moved from 70 to 21st position, and also addressed a big issue, as a hitter with great power but some contact-based questions in Cup-A-A after 54 Games. He is still a power-over-hit type, but he has a plus-plus raw power and is receiving it in sports in High-A.

In the May update, Tong moved from 147th to 50th to 50th and will be even more. His Velo is at a distance of 1.6 mph from last year, and his changeup has added five and inch sinks and two -inch runs, so he is throwing it very often and even more whispered. He keeps on developing and looks like a freight train for large league rotation.

Unique pitcher

Noah Shults, LHP, Chicago white sox
Jurrangelo Cijntje, RHP/LHP, Seattle mariners

The walk rate of Shults is in Triple-A this year, but it is still 6-foot-10 with plus raw goods from a low arm slot, so it will be a fun watch especially in a fun watch. CIJNTJE is fun, as he was quite good to go in the first round last year and now be in conversation for the top 100 – and he can throw from both sides in any game.

Candidates for MLB’s No. 1 Possibility for 2026

Along with, these are not only players in futures games who are running for top probability, but maybe also All Top candidates are once promoted to Bubba Chandler and graduated at some point this season. D Vris currently has a power in the form of a switch-hitting shortstop, which is performing in High-A at the age of 18. The walcott has a high roof, with a shot to hit 40 homer a day, but is so aggressively promoted (it is currently 19 in double-A) that it is not able to display aggressive dominations that his equipment is possible.

Clarke originally has everything on the field, but only average when it comes to raw power – his case will be that he can turn into one Corbin Carroll-Type star. McGonigle is the longest shot, as its raw physical devices are well behind this group, but it is easily the best hitter and the best approach, while there is also a labter hitter that plays a solid defensive shortstop.
