New York – Mates Sheya will honor the 60th anniversary of Fab Four’s performance at the Stadium, where they will host Mariners For Beatles Knight in City Field on 15 August.
The 1965 performance was a milestone as the Beatles became the first rock band to concert a major stadium. The show was captured by a 50 -minute documentary titled “The Beatles et Sheiya Stadium”. At that time, the multipurpose stadium was home to mates and New York Jets,
The festival will begin with a performance by 1964 at the ET at 6:15 pm in front of the tribute Shia Bridge. The first 15,000 fans to enter the city field will receive a special Shea Stadium replication.
The first pitch will be thrown away by members of the game-day staff who worked in the famous concert. A themed fireworks show will be held after the game.
