Khanna and Massey have earlier announced that Epstein’s victims will attend a press conference in the early hours of Wednesday, a day after the return of the House from August holiday.
In an interview on NBC’s “Meat the Press” on Sunday, Khanna promised that the press conference would be “explosive.”
Khanna told NBC News’s Christon Velkar, “What will be explosive. The September 3 is a press conference that we are both with 10 Epstein victims, many people who never speak before. They are going on the capital stairs.”
“They must be telling their story, and they will clearly tell the American public that they want the release of Epstein files for a complete shutdown on the matter.”
Prior to this summer, President Trump and his administration faced a thorough investigation from both sides of the corridor while dealing with Epstein related information, who died in jail in 2019, while waiting for a test on federal sex-trafficking charges.
Khanna said on NBC on Sunday that he is “very confident” and Masi bill will pass on files related to Epstein. The Congress left in July without voting on the law for its month -long holiday.
“I am very confident that it would,” California Democrat replied. “I spoke to the Congress Massey. You were both of us a few weeks ago. We will have a petition live on September 2. We have all 212 Democrats that are committed to signing it. They have 12 Republicans. Only six of them will have to sign it.”
