LSU Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan has been fired effective immediately, the school announced Monday, just a day after firing head coach Brian Kelly.

Last year, in his first season as co-offensive coordinator, the Tigers ranked No. 2 in the SEC with 315 passing yards per game. The Tigers were No. 5 in the league and No. 25 nationally in total offense with 431 yards per game.
