seattle kraken traded further mason marchement till columbus blue jackets six months after receiving it from dallas stars,
An NHL source told ESPN the Jackets are sending two draft picks to the Kraken: the 2026 fourth-round selection it originally owned. New York Rangers And a 2027 second-rounder.
Blue Jackets general manager Don Waddell said, “Mason is a player I know very well and I think he will add a lot to our team.” βHe is a physical, tough competitor with proven offensive ability, and we are very excited to have him join the Blue Jackets.β

Marchment joins a Columbus team that is .500 on the season (14-14-6) but currently sits in last place in the ultra-competitive Eastern Conference. Columbus ranks 21st in the NHL offensively with 2.88 goals per game. Waddell has had an interest in marching since his tenure carolina storm‘General Manager.
