Kia has released two recalls within a week for more than 300,000 Vehicles Due to loose parts.
According to two separate notices from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), recall affects 201,149 2023 to 2025 teleuride model On faulty door belt molding and 100,063 2023 to 2025 k5 models Window trim contingent issues.
The tailuride models can experience loose and final troops of your doors belt molding trims, which is long, narrow strip located along the top edge of the vehicle’s door where the glass window comes from the door metal frame.
The K5 model can also withstand the same issue with its C-Pillar Garnish facial plates, which are decorative panels located near the left and right rear windows.
In an additional notice, Kia said that the piece may be loose and fall due to a supplier of quality issue.
NHTSA stated in the notice that loose parts may be a threat to other drivers and can cause accidents.
NHTSA stated that KIA owners can bring their vehicles to a KIA dealership for a free inspection and replacement of affected parts.
Notification letters will be sent to the vehicle owners on 26 September.
