Mexico City – As a professional, Julio Caesar Chavez fought 115 times in the ring. Now, the former World Champion said that he was ready to fight outside of him to protect his son with his same name, arrested by American immigration agents at his Los Angeles’ house, who was lying to finish his visa and on a green card application.
39 -year -old Chavez Junior has also made an active warrant for his arrest in Mexico for smuggling alleged weapons and drugs and suggested relations with Sinaloa Cartel.
“It’s complicated; there are many things, but we are calm because we know our son’s innocence,” Elder Chavez told the El Heraldo newspaper. “My son will be anything you want, anything, but he is not a criminal and everything is less that he is being accused.”
Attorney General Alejandro Gartz Manero of Mexico said on Sunday that the investigation against Chavez Junior began in 2019, which after a complaint filed by US officials for organized crime, human trafficking, arms smuggling and drug trafficking.

Gurtz Manero said that the lawyers representing Chavez Junior have requested at least five prohibitions in Mexico, which have been rejected as the boxer is still in the United States.
“Lawyers in the United States are working to see if he lives there, and we are ready if he comes here.” “We will fight under Mexican Act if he moves here.”
The son’s arrest came only a few days after the affected-middle-middle champion in a bout in California, the former middle middle middleman, came to Ainahm, California.
The Homeland Security Department said that the officials determined that Chavez Junior should be arrested on June 27, a day before the fight. It was not clear why they were waiting to work for the days after the high-profile event.
