Jeffries says public pressure will bring Trump back to the negotiating table on shutdown

House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffrees (DN.Y.) said on Thursday that the public pressure would force the Republican to bring back the government in search of a bilateral deal to reopen.

Asked in Capital, why he feels that President Trump will change the course and enter the conversation on health care provisions. Democrats are demanding, Jeffrees did not hesitate for a moment.

“Public spirit,” he told reporters at the capital stages. “American people are paying full attention, and they know that it was Donald Trump and Republicans who have closed the government.”

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) Has rejected that base. He and other Republican leaders feel that they will win the fight for public sentiment as their bill – which will expand government money on 21 November.

Johnson told reporters at Capital on Thursday morning, “Today we are talking to you so clearly to explain to every American citizen why this is happening.” “How can they blame those who have done our work and sent it to a clean CR to maintain light?”

Pointing to the fierce finger, the parties have exposed the position adopted in the early stages of the shutdown – and they face challenges in getting out of it.

Jeffrees said that a long history of Republican is shutting down the government – including extended shutdowns in 2013 and 2019 – Democrats have an edge in public relations fight.

“Republican has repeatedly shut down the government, throughout the years,” he said. “And does any proper person think that Donald Trump or JD Vance or Mike Johnson or Senate Republican are behaving like individuals who really want to reopen the government?”

“House Republicans are truly on leave, scattered all over the country and the world,” they continued. “Democrats have been here all week.”

Democrats have been encouraged by a seriesRecent electionIt shows that voters, by quite extensive margin,Bose to Trump and his partyFor shutdown, not at least because Republicans control all the liver of power in Washington. They are demanding negotiations on a bipartisan bill, which expands the Obamcare subsidy beyond 31 December, when they are about to end.

“We want to have a bipartisan discussion, use general knowledge to reopen the government, passes a spending agreement that improves life for American people, especially it is related to the high cost of their life,” Jeffrees said.

“Unfortunately, Republican has also shown zero interest in talking.”

Johnson Republican is not refusing to refuse to negotiate, but he said that there is a simple reason for this: there is nothing to talk about.

“People say, ‘Why are you not interacting with Shumor and Jeffreies?” Because I have nothing to literally interact, “he said.” There is nothing that I can get out of the bill that was a Republican priority, ‘Oh, we will not do so. Why don’t you vote for this anymore? “

“I have nothing.”

The speaker also dismissed the notion that the Obamcare subsidy is an urgency, as they do not end until the end of the year.

“We have three months to do so,” he said. “This is not an issue for today.”

How long is the shutdown estimate.

On Wednesday, Jeffrees suggested that when he predicts that it predicts that it would be resolved before the next round of the house, it would be resolved before going out at the end of the month. But on Thursday, he saw a separate note, stating that the Democrats are hanging for a long race to ensure that they do not end the Obamcare subsidy.

“Democrats are in this fight until we conquer this fight,” he said.
