The Herons won the 2025 MLS Cup on December 6 by defeating vancouver whitecaps 3–1 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale to mark the team’s first league trophy.
Although the team had previously won the Supporters’ Shield and League Cup trophies, the MLS Cup remained an unattainable goal until winning the title last season.
