Instagram announced on Monday that it was eventually adding the ability to listen to the preview of songs for users that they have shared in stories from Spotify.
While Instagram has long allowed users to share spotify songs in their stories, it will do so without sound, and just provide a link to the song on the streaming platform. Now, when a user posts a song on his story, the audience will be able to hear the preview of the song within the Instagram.
Small, yet remarkable changes make it easier to share and search for music on the platform without leaving the app.
The step came a few weeks after the social network started a similar capacity for Instagram notes. Users can now do Stream songs from Spotify On their Instagram notes directly, let your followers look and check what kind of music they are in real time.
New abilities can help Instagram in position as a hub to discover music and in turn, encourage people to spend more time on the app. Construction of music features can also make Instagram more competitive with Tiktok, already dominating space and affecting music charts globally.

Instagram also announced that it is rolling out the new fonts this year for stories and reels. To begin, the stage is offering a limited time font inspired by the singer and lyricist Rosalia’s handwriting.
Users can unlock secret symbols by Rosalia when typing in characters such as “:-)”, ***, “and” <3, "is called Instagram.
