Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Thursday that Kristi Noem has done an “excellent job” at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), hours after President Trump announced he had tapped Senator Markway Mullin (R-Okla.) to replace him as the department’s secretary. “We all serve at the will of the president,” Hegseth told reporters during a briefing.
