Giuliani seriously injured in car crash

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was seriously injured in a car accident in New Hampshire on Saturday evening, according to a statement by his security team.

Giuliani’s security chief Michael Ragusa said in an official news release, Giuliani’s vehicle was “hit back on high speed”.

Giuliani, who previously served as a personal lawyer of President Trump, was taken to a nearby trauma center, “where he was also detected by a fragmented thoracic vertebra, several lacquer and contradictions as well as his left hand and lower leg injuries.”

Ragusa said that the business partner Maria Ryan of the nurse practitioner Giuliani was contacted and reached the hospital shortly after the accident.

In a statement to The Hill, the New Hampshire State Police confirmed that they were “investigating an accident, injuring three people, in which a passenger was identified as former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani.”

“Before Saturday, August 30, 2025, before 10 pm, Troops was assigned to the Trupes B Barrack, investigating a domestic violence incident in the interstate 93 south side at Manchester, when a two-marriage accident occurred north side of the interstate.

He said, “Troopers and fire personnel, who were in the scene of the first event, saw the conflict and crossed the interstate to provide help quickly,” he said, Giuliani Mara was a passenger in the vehicle.

According to Ragusa’s statement, shortly before the car accident, Giuliani was “flagged off by a woman who was a victim of domestic violence.”

The statement said that Mayor Giuliani immediately provided assistance and contacted 911.

Shortly after issuing the official statement, Ragusa tried to nicks the principles of conspiracy on social media.

He said Giuliani was in a rented car, “Nobody knew that it was that.”

Ragusa said in a post, “It was not a target attack. We ask all to respect Giuliani’s privacy and recovery, and avoid spreading the principles of baseless conspiracy.”

Giuliani, once known as the “Mayor of America”, became central for Trump’s efforts to turn the 2020 election results, spread allegations of Trump’s voter fraud. Dozens of cases, recounts and audit did not give any evidence of significant fraud which would have changed the result of the election.

He has faced significant legal losses since then. Two Georgia election workers won a $ 148 million defamation decision against him for his efforts to spread false claims to sow mistrust in the election results. He was also permanently rejected by practicing law in the country’s capital.
