Githb CEO Thomas Dohmke Announced On Monday, he is stepping down from his role. Dohmke will remain in Microsoft -owned company by the end of the year, after which he will depart to be “again a founder”, he wrote blog post,

“With over 1B repo and thorns, and with over 150 million developers, the Githb has not been stronger than today,” Dohm has written. “We have seen more open-source projects with more contribution every year. AI projects have doubled in the previous year. And our presence in any size companies is unmatched in the market.”
This step comes because Github is facing increasing competition from companies Google And Cursor More than the AI tool for the programmer.
