Former Hasbro Inc. CEO Alan G. HasenfeldWhose family established the iconic toy company, has died.
Alan’s death was announced on Wednesday by Hasbro … but it is not clear when and where he died… or what was the cause of death.
Her grandfather, HenryEstablished Hasbro Way in 1923 … and it is the second largest American toy company … only behind Mattle. Hasbro GI Joe, forms tons of transformer, Mr. Potato Head, My Little Pony, Nerf, Play-Doh and other prestigious toys.
Alan joined the family business directly out of college in 1970 and quickly climbed the ranks … until 1980, he was the Executive Vice President and became President in 1984. Alan became the CEO of Hasbro in 1989 when he was only 47 years old, and he left the position in 2003. He remained as a chairman, but left the board last year… and no longer family members are left in the board.
