Florida Attorney General James Uthmeyer (R) said Thursday he is launching an investigation into OpenAI and its chatbot. In a video posted online announcing the investigation, Uthmeyer cited “concerns” over OpenAI data and technologies “falling into the hands” of the Chinese Communist Party and ChatGPT’s links to criminal behavior, including “child sexual abuse material.”
