On Monday, flights have been grounded across Russia after hitting the country’s largest airline, aeroflot.
The description of the cybercatac is limited, but a pro-Ukrainian hacker group known for targeting Russian organizations, called the Silent Crowe, took credit for the belarous hackers as well as cybercat, which cited the capture of Russia’s Ukraine.
The group stated in a telegram post seen by Techcrunch that it had controlled the important systems of the aeroflots, including terabytes of internal data. The group said it “destroyed” the airline systems. Screenshots posted by hackers reportedly show access to several aeroflot systems, including internal active directors of internal users.
Aeroflot’s website was currently unavailable on Monday, stating that it was “temporarily restricted” with an error message.
