Sen John Fetterman (D-Pa.) On Thursday said that New York Democratic Mayorial candidate Zoharan Mamdani’s politics is not of the Democratic Party.
“I mean, so he is not even a Democrat, honestly,” Fetterman said in an interview with Fox News about Mamdani’s progressive socialist policies.
Mamdani, who currently serves as the New York Assembly, is emphasizing for a pestilent rent freeze, city-run grocery stores and a philanthropic rent for free buses.
“Everything that I have read on it, I really do not agree with anyone politically,” Fetman told Fox’s Chad Pagram.
GOP MPs and Establishment Democrats have echoed their feelings.
Jonathan Kot, former Director of Manchin (DW.VA.), a former Director of Communication (DW.VA), said that “get out of the way” during Thursday’s appearance on the “USA News Room” of Mamdani Fox News.
“He says that he is a democratic socialist, and is how he should run, and this is what he should point to the Democrats across the country,” Kot said.
“He is not what they represent.”
However, New York leaders including Rape Alexandria Okasio-Cortease (D), Attorney General Latitia James (D) and Competolar Brad Lander (D) have supported the Mammadani.
“He won the Democrat primary, so you can claim that he is not a part of the Democrat party, but he is nominated. And a lot of elected Democrat officers who were campaigning for him during primary,” Mark Short, former Vice President Pence’s east-east-one person said, “The US news room” said.
“And so I think it is actually a reflection of how far the Democrat party has gone, and I think it’s a constant challenge for them,” he said.
Mammadani has been slated to face the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams in November.
