Euro 2025 The quarter is in the final as eight teams have gone to the house after the group stage and eight have been given a chance to get their hands on the trophy. But how much does everyone have to win the tournament?
This question seems quite simple, but it is mixed in all types of elements: Star quality, squad depth, national confidence, weaknesses, strategic approaches, injuries and – perhaps most important now – also – bracketology. Some nations have actually landed in a really sweet place regarding the possible route of the final.
But who are the favorite now? We have ranked all eight teams in Switzerland this summer. Let’s dive.
In his first tournament ended under a difficult group, but never looked close to competition as he scored 13 goals.
The fans were incredible, but did not have their team. Not a single point in relatively open group A.
Three games, three necklaces. Denmark would have expected to do much better in Group C.
A late draw versus Italy gave him hope, but then he lost to Belgium in Group B.
The defeat for Germany and Sweden made it a tough first tournament without scoring a goal, but Poland showed great confidence by defeating Denmark 3–2 in Group C.
A win, draw and disadvantage were not enough to progress from Group A.
Italy’s necklace actually knocked on them, although he showed some battles in Group B.
After beating Wales and losing to England in Group D, he was ahead against France and suffered a setback. But then the second half was captured.

How Switzerland saved its Euro 2025 expectations
In your home tournament, take a look at the number behind Switzerland’s 1–1 draw against Finland to secure your location in the Euro 2025 quarter-finals.
It was a major achievement for the hosts to make it before the group stage. To a large extent in the group he did enough with draw, victory and disadvantages. However, his second place ending means that he was designed against the winners of Group B (Spain) and hence the most difficult quarterfinal draw. Their possibility of winning against the world champion is thin, but the country is actually behind the team in this summer, so they will be motivated to get upset.
Norway navigated the group’s phase with quite comfortable, three to three wins, but is unlikely to forgive so much in the rest of the tournament. We have to give Italy an edge in his upcoming quarter-finals, although not out of question for a nation with glorious history in the European Championship (two-time winners and four-time runner-ups, recently 2013).
In this quarterfinal, the Euro 2022 semi-finals are unlikely to mirror, which saw Sweden losing 4–0 to England. He is an experienced team who scored four runs against Germany, and won all three group games. But facing the ruled champion is not the draw that Sweden wanted, so it would ask a tough for them to make the last four.
Germany looked confident until its final group game, where all of this separated in 4–1 defeat in Sweden after an expensive red card. Now they find themselves on the hard side of the bracket, facing the next France and then the winner of Spain vs. Switzerland. This means that they will need to achieve two of the world’s top ranked sides to reach the finals. It is difficult to call their quarterfinals against France, matched equally with both teams, but the possibility of meeting the next Spain in Semi reduces Germany in the ranking.
Topping Group D has not guaranteed an easy route to France to France and finishing in second place would have offered them a more favorable draw. France is now facing a difficult route, harassing England in the initial game, despite comfortably hovering through a group stage with three to three wins. They will need to recover from Germany and, if successful, will probably have to struggle with the next Spain. Like Germany, it makes their progress from the end to far.
Of course, Azur The most favorable quarterfinal matchup is. Staying second in Group B, they now face the winners of Group A, a group that featured four -low rank teams. As his quarterfinal opponents with Norway, he has a strong chance to reach the semi -finals, although a possible meeting with the winner of England vs. Sweden will offer a very difficult barrier. Nevertheless, making it in the semi -finals will mark the performance of Italy’s best tournament in this century and they have defeated Germany and Spain in recent years … so anything is possible.
After his initial loss for France, the conversation around England was whether they would exclude it from the group’s stage. But after his 4–0 victory over the Netherlands, the story quickly moved to talk about going to all the way. Getting second place in the group really came to an advantage because it placed them on the easy side of the draw, first with Sweden and then either in Either Italy or Norway in the semi -finals, as they avoided both eight -time champions Germany and world champion Spain. Thanks to the bracket, the defending champion now has a real shot to reach another final.
With three solid win from three matches, it is no surprise that Spain is not a favorite for the title. He was cruel in the quarter -finals, but his path is far from simple. Hosts Switzerland will be roared with home support, and promises to be a potential semi -finals against the winner of France vs Germany. Nevertheless, this Spain side has shown that they can beat anyone on their day and finally keep them well to claim a trophy that has removed them.
