The league and union announced the deal Saturday night that still needs to be approved by the Board of Governors and the full player membership. A total of 28 games were postponed on Friday and Saturday after the PHPA went on strike.
The parties did not release any details about the CBA, which they believe will get players back to work. They were engaged in talks since January.
It was not immediately clear when play would resume in the 30-team North American Minor Hockey League, which is two levels below the NHL.
