Shohi Ohtani Major League has already made history as a pitcher and a hitter in baseball. Now, he is bending into his skills as a writer.
Los angeles doors‘Two-way star on Thursday announced a new children’s book, “Decoy Sews Opening Day” with his dog, Decoy’s Instagram post.
Ohtani co-written a 32-hit book with Michael Blanc which is set to release in the next February. The cover is a depiction of Ohthani and his dog – with a baseball in the mouth of the dicky – by Fanny Lem.
As Publisher Harper CollinsThe plot follows an excited dicky, before he throws the first pitch of Opening Day. But Dicky finds out that he left his lucky baseball at home and should take it back before it was too late.
Harper Collins shared that Ohtani is a glorious sponsor of animal rescue organizations. He hopes that the publication of the book can “support the work of these amazing non -profit organizations that help dogs find their homes forever.”
The three-time MVP batted with 32 domestic runs and 60 RBI in the all-star break. He played nine innings in five matches with returning to elbow surgery in September 2023.
