Children lose muscle during early cancer treatment: Study warns of a hidden danger to recovery

New research by the Exercise Medicine Research Institute at Edith Kovan University (ECU) has highlighted that children undergoing cancer often lose skeletal muscles at a time when they should get it rapidly, a disadvantage that can increase treatment complications and increase the risk of long -term health problems.
