CINCINNATI — Bengal quarterback joe burro The game is one step closer to returning to action.
According to the team’s injury report, Burrow was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice. It’s the first time the Pro Bowl quarterback has been 100 percent in practice since suffering a turf toe injury against Jacksonville on September 14.
Wednesday also marked the first time that Burrow took 11-on-11 drills in his return to practice. He is still in the middle of the 21-day window that allows him to participate without being added to the active roster.

“There’s no reason for me to speculate on that until we get some practice in,” Taylor said.
Burrow has viewed Thanksgiving as a possible date to return from an injury that required surgery and caused him to miss the last seven games. After practice, Burrow gave no indication of what his timeline might look like.
When Burrow spoke to reporters last week, he hinted that the team’s record could be a factor in his return. Cincinnati (3-7) has lost seven of its last eight games and is on a three-game losing streak entering Sunday’s home game against the Patriots (9-2), who are tied for the best record in the AFC.
“Right now, his mindset is he wants to play football for us,” Taylor said Monday. “We will continue his rehab process and see where it ends up before making any decisions on how we want to proceed.”
Joe FlaccoJoe, who has started the last five games since being acquired via trade, was limited due to a right shoulder sprain. The 40-year-old veteran has played through the injury since being injured in the team’s Week 9 loss New York Jets On 26 October. Leading up to the last two games, the team has managed Flacco’s workload early in the week.
Given Burrow’s timeline, it seems increasingly likely that Sunday could be Flacco’s last scheduled start in Cincinnati. Flacco told ESPN that while he may not have considered the idea, it has crossed his mind.
“It’s in your mind to some extent,” Flacco said. “But I’m not really that worried about it. I think as long as I just keep my head down and keep preparing the way I am and then go about it regardless, it will be best for me.”

Flacco is in the final stages of a one-year contract. He said his tenure with the Bengals has strengthened his confidence in becoming the starting quarterback in 2026.
“Hopefully this will put it into somebody’s mind that I can do this,” Flacco told ESPN. “I still want to do it. I still think I can do it. It obviously helps the confidence to be able to do it and all the other things.
“I’d like a chance, but you never know.”
