Boxing legends Mike Tyson and Floid Mayweather Junior agreed to compete in an exhibition match in the next spring. The program will be placed by CSI Sports/Fight Sports, but a location, date and where the fight will be broadcast, the details have not yet been determined.
Mayweather (50–0, 27 KO) said in a news release, “I have been doing this for 30 years, and there is not a single fighter that can tarnish my heritage.” “You already know that if I am going to do something, it is going to grow up and it is going to be mythological. I am the best in boxing business. This exhibition will give fans what they want.”
The 48 -year -old Mayweather retired after taking out MMA Superstar Connor McGregor in 2017. He has since competed in eight exhibition quarrels since then, the most recent against John Goti III in August 2024.
Although his bout with Logan Paul was the largest of his greatest exhibitions at this point, step into the ring with former Heavyweight Champion Tyson (59–7, 44 kos) is sure to dwarf his previous engagement.
The 59 -year -old Tyson last competed in a professional boxing match against Jake Paul in November 2024 at the AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This was the first time the former Heavyweight Champion competed in about two decades. The event was a major success, with 65 million concurrent audiences on Netflix, it is the most stream -up sports event ever. Tyson lost a unanimous decision for Paul and was his destructively away during his successor.
Tyson recently told ESPN that if he presents the right opportunity himself, he was interested in competition in another battle.
