A close associate of Venezuela’s former regime leader is being targeted by the Department of Justice (DOJ) after receiving a pardon during the Biden administration. Alex Saab, Venezuela’s former Minister of Industry and National Production, is being investigated by DOJ officials for an alleged bribery conspiracy to import food, two former law enforcement officials said.
