A week before the first time in the Rider Cup 30 years came to New York, the US PGA announced its three major championships in Empire State through 2035.
KPMG Women’s PGA will be played on Black Course in Bethapage Black in 2028, and the PGA Championship will go to Bathpage Black for the second time in 2033.
The PGA of the US said that the PGA Championship would return to Oak Hill near Rochester for the fifth time in 2035.
Rider Cup Bethpage Black begins on 26 September, which is Beef Public Course on Long Island. Bethpage Black first hosted the US Open in 2002 and 2009.
Women PGA has been jointly run by the PGA of America and LPGA Tour since 2015, when the second oldest head in women’s golf was a significant upgradation. It changed a regular LPGA event held in the Rochester region in the grasshopper groves and Monroes. But it did not return to New York under the tournament structure in Westchester since 2015.
“Bringing the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship into Bethpage Black is an important milestone and shows our commitment to staging the event in premiere courses in major markets,” said Don Ri Junior, who is having a two -year tenure as the President of America.
Since the US collaboration with LPGA, the female PGA has moved into eight courses, which is first included in Baltusrol in New Jersey, Olympia Fields in the south of Chicago, Hazultine in Minnesota and Congress from the country’s capital.
“Venus Matter,” said LPGA Commissioner Craig Casler. “They elevate our athletes and increase the moments that define our game.”
Brox Koipka Won the last two PGA Championship held in New York – in 2019 in Bethapage Black and Oak Hill in 2023.
The PGA Championship lasted from August to May to May in 2019, and it managed to escape the frigid weather in Bathpage Black in 2019 and Oak Hill in 2023, although a frost was delayed in the first round in Oak Hill.
Shinkock Hills in New York also has a US Open next year, and Western Golf Association BMW Championship – A Fedx Cup Playoff event on PGA Tour – is bringing Liberty to Liberty National in New Jersey in 2027.
The PGA Tour stopped going to the New York Metropolitan sector in 2021, when it lost a title sponsor that rotated the first Postsen event between New York and Boston.
The Rider Cup, which is expecting a large and strong crowd in Bathpage Black, was the last in New York in 1995 in Oak Hill. Europe won, the onset of a stretch in which it has captured the Rider Cup 10 last 14 times.
