Productivity software manufacturer Atlasian has agreed to acquire the browser company, which makes the arch and DIA Browser, for $ 610 million cash.
“Today’s browsers were not designed for work; they were created for browsing. The deal is a bold step in re-starting the browser for the work of knowledge in the AI era,” Mike cannon-Brux, CEO of Atlasian and co-founder, said in a statement.
He said, “Together, we will create an AI-operated browser adapted to many mother-in-law applications living in the tab-a one whom knowledge workers would like to use every day,” he said.
