At least 11 people stabbed at a Walmart in Michigan, and a suspect is in custody

Officials said on Saturday that Traverse City, MICH.

Munsan Healthcare said through social media that 11 people were being treated at the largest hospital in the northern Michigan region, and spokesperson Megan Brown said that all the victims were stabbing.

Michigan State Police said that the local Sheriff Office was investigating the incident and the details were limited. The agency asked that people escape from the region while the investigation is on.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said his office was in touch with the police about “terrible news”.

The Whitmer said, “Our views are with the victims and the community who are from this cruel work of violence.”

Walmart Corporate Spokesperson, who Pennington, said by email that the company was “working with the police and postponing them.”

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said in a social media post that the bureau officials were responding to “providing any necessary assistance”.

Traveers City is a popular holiday place on the banks of Michigan Lake. It is known for its cherry festival, winery and lighthouse and is about 25 miles (40 km) east of Sleeping Beer Dunes National Lashore.
