Owings Mills, MD. – Arthur Jones, a defensive lineman, who spent his first four NFL season in Baltimore and won a super bowl with ravens. He was 39 years old.
Syrakuse, Jones of Jones said that he died on Friday morning. School and revenue did not cause death in their announcements.
“Arthur’s presence was a gift to everyone, which he faced,” said the general manager of Reavens Eric Dacosta. “His big, bright smile, infectious energy and eternal positivity created a presence that continuously uplift others.”
Jones were the fifth round of draft pick in 2010 and in 2012-13, there were 8 and 8 and 8 and 8 and 8 in two-season stretch. Ravens defeated San Francisco in the Super Bowl XLVII to cap on the 2012 season.
Jones dismissed 49ers Quarterback Colin Kopranic just before a power outage at Superdome at New Orleans. He also did a Famble Recovery in that super bowl.
“My heart is heavy today after the loss of Art Jones,” said Revenne coach John Harbagh. “Art really a notable person, a dedicated team partner, a tireless worker, and anyone would be proud to lead the coach. His love, generous feeling, and radiant smile left a lucky impression on everyone to know him.
“They had a real gift to join people, bringing happiness to the locker room and beyond, and their presence was a source of light within our team and the Baltimore community.”
Jones spent two years in 2017 with Indianapolis in Washington and a final season.
Jones played for Sirrakuse and former UFC Heavyweight Champion John Jones and former Syracuse and NFL were the elder brothers of Defensive and Chandler Jones, who were four -time Pro bounces, who won a super bowl in New England.
Jones had a school record for an internal defensive lineman, 38 and tackles for damage in sirrakuse. He was a first-Team All-Big East selection in each of his last two sessions.
“Arthur Jones was a tremendous player and even a better person,” said Syracuse Athletic director John Wildhack. “We were lucky that Arthur continued to support our football program after his game career. He always impressed many of our students-athletes with smiling and uplift message.”
