Family says stepbrother charged with murder on Carnival cruise

Anna was on vacation on a Caribbean cruise with her father, stepmother and three step-siblings when she died. A housekeeper reportedly found Anna’s body under her bed – and the ship returned to Miami, Florida the next day, as the FBI began an investigation.

The emergency filing is part of a custody battle between Hudson and shawntelle kepnerWho are the parents of Anna’s step brother. Hudson has asked for sole custody of Kepner’s other half-brother, identified only as BH.
In early February, TMZ reported step brother was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service and hauled before a judge for a closed-door hearing in Miami federal court. Since the stepbrother has been deemed a juvenile, his criminal case has been sealed.
The FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida have not commented publicly on the Kepner case.
