Lloyd Howell Jr., Executive Director of NFL Players Association, resigned late on Thursday, which ended a two -year term as a Sangh leader.
“It is clear that my leadership has become a distraction to move forward every day for the important work of NFLPA,” the 59 -year -old Hawl said in a statement issued by the Sangh. “For this reason, I have informed the NFLPA Executive Committee that I am immediately effective as the Executive Director of NFLPA and the Chairman of the NFL players.
