AMC will stream ‘The Audacity’ premiere in 21 parts on TikTok

While it’s not unusual for networks to promote new shows by releasing full episodes on YouTube, AMC is doing something different for its Silicon Valley-centric comedy “The Audacity.”

The show’s premiere will be available on TikTok from Sunday morning. It will be divided into 21 segments, each segment lasting approximately three minutes, as per deadline. The segments will be numbered, allowing users to watch the premiere in its entirety if they wish.

AMC’s chief marketing officer said it could be a smart way for a show to generate buzz among younger audiences. It was described as the network’s biggest launch of the year.. Or it could just be a strange attempt rebuild quibi.

Created by Jonathan Glatzer and starring Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg, “The Audacity” does not depict actual companies or executives, but aims to Provide a darkly comedic look at the many issues created by today’s technology.

And if you don’t want to watch in three-minute segments, you can watch the full premiere on AMC and its streaming service AMC+. It will also stream simultaneously on Samsung’s free service Samsung TV Plus.
