A witness told DC News Now he was with his cousin when the shooting occurred.
“All we heard was screaming,” he said. “We can’t do anything in D.C. … It happens every time there’s an event in D.C., especially Homecoming. D.C. [is] Dangerous.”
An eyewitness, Jaden Ramirez, said he was playing basketball when he saw three men running down the street yelling at people. Then he heard the sound of six-seven bullets.
“We panicked, we ran inside and then came out 30 minutes later. We weren’t trying to get shot,” he said.
