Ahead
emmit finneyC, detroit red wings (2.24 FPPG, 72.4% available): Their origins roughly match. patrick kaneThere is an injury, but both have nothing to do with each other. finny is riding shotgun dylan larkin And lucas raymond On the Red Wings’ top line. While they are getting some power-play runs in Kane’s absence, only one of their eight points has come with the man advantage.
Dmitry VoronkovLW, columbus blue jackets (2.33 ffpg, 32.4% available): Kirill Marchenko There’s fuel for the Blue Jackets’ top offense, but sean monahan And Voronkov deserves a lot of credit. The trio are still shutouts at 5-on-5 this season, with seven goals for and none for the opposition.
jack roslovicC, edmonton oilers (0.95 FPPG, 99.3% available): Outside of the Oilers’ attack, Roslovic didn’t get the benefit of a contest. connor mcdavid Or leon draisaitl In the training camp. Naturally, he is now part of the only Edmonton line with more than one 5-on-5 goal this season. Roslovic, Draisaitl and Vasily Podkolzin The pair became the first Oilers trio of multiple equal strengths to pair up against the Canucks on Sunday.
emile heinemannLW, New York Islanders (2.23 FPPG, 85.8% available): While we’re on the subject of lines, the Islanders deserve congratulations. The previously mentioned Blue Jackets trio is one of three NHL lines that play together for at least 60 minutes at 5-on-5 without allowing any goals. The other two belong to both islands. Anthony Duclair, matthew barzal And kyle palmieri haven’t scored at even strength (although they only have three goals), while bo horvat, Jonathan Drouin And Heinemann has also been perfect defensively and has scored five times.

Justin FaulkD, St. Louis Blues (2.10 FPPG, 82.8% possessions): Six different five-player units have scored one power-play goal each for the Blues, so it’s safe to say they’re still getting a feel for their setup. three of those goals came cam fowler quarterbacking, and three points running with Faulk. Faulk has also put up numbers in blocked shots, making him a worthwhile pickup with added upside if he completely takes over Fowler’s role on a benefit basis.
cam yorkD, Philadelphia Flyers (2.14 FPPG, 77.3% available): The second unit for the Flyers has been getting more looks than the first unit lately – perhaps because they have scored three goals in the last three games, with York taking care of all three from his role at the point.

Joseph VollYes, Toronto Maple Leafs (77.5% available): Back with the club after a personal leave of absence, Vol may need a few more days before he is ready to start. But his return comes at exactly the right time. Anthony Stolarz This is indicating that he is not made for heavy workloads. The two formed arguably the best tandem in the league last season, with both performing well enough in their split duties to earn fantasy roster spots.
elvis merzlikinsYes, Columbus Blue Jackets (3.40 FPPG, 73.1% available): Given today’s hypothetical goalscoring scenario, a goals-against average creeping towards 3.00 can hardly be disqualified as long as goal support is present. The Blue Jackets have stepped up for Merzlikins, winning twice in games in which he has allowed four goals. Merzlikins and jet greaves Have shuffled around the crease so far, but both could provide value if Columbus keeps converting those outings into wins.
Ukko-Pekka LuukkonenYes, Buffalo Sabers (-3.40 FPPG, 88.5% available): Has been a real value in the Sabers crease this season, Alex Lyon Ranked eighth in fantasy points and waiver-claim pickup. colten ellis Made headlines with win over Red Wings. Luukkonen is now back in the mix, although his return came with an unofficial start against the Leafs on Saturday. Buffalo does not have any back-to-back sets in its three-game week, so we should have a clear understanding of the team’s current goaltending hierarchy based on who gets the nod.

morgan geekyC, boston bruins (1.94 FPPG, 58.1% available): With so many light nights this week, there’s no perfect combo to cover all seven days. But pairing the Bruins with players from the Ducks, Blue Jackets, Red Wings or Islanders gets you closer. The geek deserves consideration even without the schedule hack, because he’s locked in with david pasternak At even strength and on the power play.
cam talbotYes, Detroit Red Wings (1.40 FPPG, 74.7% available): He didn’t help his cause with a brutal -9.4 fantasy-point outing against the Islanders, but the Red Wings have one of the best goalie schedules of the week. Their four-game West Coast swing allowed opponents a combined average of 6.91 fantasy points to goaltenders. Talbot should get at least one start in the back-to-back against the Kings and Ducks, and maybe even a second if he rebounds well.
jake allenYes, New Jersey Devils (4.03 FPPG, 66.7% makes): Devils can afford easy jacob markstrom Back in action thanks to Allen’s personal five-game winning streak. Markstrom returns on Sunday and should see the crease again after back-to-backs with the Kings and Ducks. Sound familiar? The Devils also have a four-game western trip, which has an even juicier fantasy setup than Detroit (opponents averaging 6.93 FP combined).
Ville KoivunenRW, Pittsburgh Penguins (0.35 FPPG, 99.3% available): For hand surgery Ricard Raquel Opportunity opens for several weeks Sidney Crosby‘Swing. There are plenty of applicants, and Koivunen’s brief AHL stint doesn’t exactly strengthen his case, but he was recalled to fill Rakell’s spot and entered camp as the favorite for a top-six role.
Arseny GritsyukRW, New Jersey Devils (1.40 FPPG, 98.4% available): The Devils have repeatedly shuffled their second line, but rookie Gritsyuk is skating the latest look Timo Mayer And nico hischier – A combo worth monitoring for Ulta streaming. After all, it is a four-game week for the Devils.
