On Monday, President Trump called the Democrats to reopen the government, saying that he would only discuss a possible deal on expanding the credit after supporting the GOP funding proposal.

House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffrees (DN.Y.) pushed back On Trump’s claim that any conversation with the Democrat was taking place with the officials of the White House.
