Memphis, Tenn. ,Befall) – A new football player for Ole Miss was dead after officials said that he and four others were shot outside a house late on Saturday night.
Detectives with Shelby County Sheriff Office said that shooting took place in Cordova, just out of Memphis, immediately after 10 pm
The arrival depot stopped a car at an intersection and found a person suffering from a gun pellet wound. He was declared dead on the spot and has since been identified as the 18 -year -old Corey Adams of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Four other people arrived in the area hospitals in a non-matuable situation by individual vehicles. The shooting is still looking for a suspect.
The witnesses described the scene as chaotic. A person, who did not want to live on camera, told Nexstar’s velocity that the house where the shooting took place appeared to be hosting a pool party. He said that many cars put a line on the road.
“I was watching TV here in my living room and I heard big shots. Vishal shots,” he said. “I thought there was a big attack. I just asked my children to lie down on the ground and shut down all the lights. Certainly, there was a big fear.”
By the time the deputation came, he said that all the people participating in the party had gone.

Adams was a new person who was a new person at Mississippi University and was going to play for the football team. He was one of the top defensive linemen recruitments in the country.
Mississippi University issued a statement on Adams saying, “We have been destroyed to find out that a new person of the team, Cordova, Tennessy died last night. While our program is trying to deal with this tragic loss, our views are with their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
Edna Karr, former Adams’s former New Orleans High School Football Team, said in a Facebook post that “the words cannot describe this type of pain.”
The team said, “Corey Adams was more than a football player! He was around a friend, brother, son, student and great young man.” “We never question God but this is what we do not understand.”
