After falling behind in generative AI, IBM and AMD look to quantum for an edge

IBM and AMD The next generation of computing architecture is partnered to develop which integrate IBM’s quantum Systems with AI-specific chips of AMD. This step can take both technical giant and chipmaker in the form of major infrastructure players, as they want to gain land after falling back on the generic AI boom.

Together, IBM and AMD will attempt to launch a commercially viable quantum computing architecture-a scalable and open-source. In other words, it will be more widely accessible to researchers and developers that resolve complicated real -world problems in areas such as discovery, adaptation and logistics according to IBM.

“Quantum computing will follow the natural world and represents the entire new way,” IBM President and CEO Arvind Krishna said, in A statement“Quantum computers from IBM from IBM can work together with advanced high-performance calculation technologies, we will create a powerful hybrid model that forwards the boundaries of traditional computing.”
